  • The Children’s Treehouse Foundation–CLIMB Program (Children’s Lives Include Moments of Bravery) is the nation’s only organization providing hospital-based, cancer-focused psychosocial intervention training and programming dedicated to improving the emotional health of children whose parents have cancer.  Their CLIMB Program helps to normalize feelings of sadness, anxiety, fear and anger of the children, while stimulating improved communication between the children and the parents.   • The ABC Program (After Breast Cancer)–YMCA Middle Tennessee is a 16-week program, in which participants receive full access to the YMCA, a customized exercise workout designed by a Pink Ribbon Certified personal trainer, nutrition counseling with a registered dietitian, along with encouragement and support by a caring staff and other breast cancer patients and survivors. The ABC Program is having a positive impact in improving the quality of life for individuals who have had breast cancer.  View website

  • Operation Purple Camps (with The National Military Family Association) whose mission is “to empower military children & their families to develop and maintain healthy & connected relationships, in spite of the current military environment. We do this through a variety of means, including the healing and holistic aspect of the natural world. The program is joint or purple— and open to children and families of active duty, National Guard or Reserve service members from the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, Coast Guard, or the Commissioned Corps of the US Public Health Service and National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration.” View website
